Rates & Policies

When planning a visit to Southern Cross Guest Ranch / B&B, is best to follow these simple steps: 

1.

Choose a meal plan
All plans include use of common areas, pool (seasonal), and hot tub

Bed & Breakfast (B&B)
Basic room and breakfast only plan. The rate includes lodging, breakfast, unlimited nonalcoholic beverages, unlimited snacks and desserts, video library, and game room privileges. See below for optional "add-ons" that can be purchased separately on the B&B plan.  Daily rates only.

All-Inclusive (AI)
Our most popular plan includes horseback riding (twice daily), meals (3x daily), lodging, game room privileges, unlimited beverages, unlimited nonalcoholic beverages, mountain bike use, and access to the video library.  This plan is available with daily rates for stays of 1 or 2 nights, but the best value is with our 3-night or longer packages.  You can also extend a 3-night package to a 4th or 5th night.

All-Inclusive Non-Riding (AINR)
Basically the same as our All-Inclusive plan, but excludes horseback riding.  Daily rates only.

Select an accommodation level
Room Categories 1 through 5

All rooms feature private bathrooms, TV, DVD, and Telephone.

Category 1
King or Queen Bed, TV, DVD player, limited or no view. (A BASIC ROOM)

Category 2
King Bed (some with additional queen or twins), TV, DVD player, larger floor plan, good/better views.

Category 3
Same as category 2, plus either a personal sized whirlpool or 40-channel TV with semi-private balcony.

Category 4
Same as category 2, plus large whirlpool tub for two, separate shower and 32" 40-channel TV.

Category 5
Same as category 4, plus fireplace and vaulted ceilings with larger whirlpool, shower, and bathroom.

General Policies

Cancellation policy
A $50/room/night deposit will be due for reservation placement.
Deposits for reservations cancelled greater than 30 day prior to arrival are 85% refundable.
For cancellations 7-30 days prior to arrival, deposits are 50% refundable, and less than 7 days are nonrefundable. Timely cancellations allow us to offer your room to other prospective guests.
With this policy, the most you could forfeit for a cancellation is limited to your deposit. However, if this is still too much risk, we encourage you to seek 3rd party traveler’s insurance. 

This policy applies for cancellations or postponements made for any reason.

One exception: You can always reschedule for an earlier date without penalty, but you can only reschedule (without penalty) for a later date IF you are doing so greater than 30 days prior to your reservation. Please plan accordingly.

Rider Requirements
Weight restrictions exist for riders who weigh 250 pounds (113 kg) or more. If anyone in your party is over 250 pounds, please contact us for more information. All riders must also be physically and mentally fit to ride a horse to participate in our riding program. We must reserve the right to deny riding to anyone.

Smoking
Allowed in outdoor areas only - Smoking in guestrooms is not permitted.

Children
Children are welcome (ages 4 & up); parent(s) or guardian(s) responsible supervision of children at all times.

Pets
Pets are not allowed in the house or guestrooms.  You may rent a stall in the stables ($15/night) and they are required to be on a leash when not in the stall.

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit card, and cash. Checks may be used only if paying 14+ days in advance.
